  1. The MSM — of which this Kansas City newspaper is an exmalpe — are making fun of the Christian splinter church — who sets an exact date (May 21) of when the world is supposed to end. The left-wing MSM (e.g., CBC News and CTV News) are going into hysterics laughing about this poor church and the misguided pastor. But the intelligent Christian thinkers I talk to stress that it is impossible to set an exact date. In fact, there are several “books” that were intended to be included in the Christian Bible — but were excluded simply because they had forecast end-of-the-world years (somewhere between 200AD and 600AD) which had already passed, by the time the final set of books were decided upon.As for me, up until age 56 I was the typical secular writer. But I came to the conclusion that there is going to be a nuclear exchange in the Middle East, triggered by Iran having nuclear weapons and Israel retaliating. Note that Iran will trigger it with atomic bombs, and Israel will retaliate with hydrogen weapons, most likely with MIRV-tipped missles. Most scholars view the Flood tale as a local flood in in the Middle East. The Bible (and I do not have the reference handy) states that the next world-ending event will be “the fire next time”. The fire next time will be a regional event, much like the Flood of about 10,000 BC.So as for me, I converted to Christianity five years ago (I attend a Baptist church each Sunday and contribute to three different ministries) solely because of the “fire” prediction. It agrees fully with competent observers Iran’s buildup — and of Israel’s enemies.I converted because, alone, I cannot psychologically handle an thermal nuclear exchange in the Middle East. Maybe some of the facile commentators on this site can. When the nuclear exchange takes place, hundreds of thousands of people will die, and the world economy will be shattered. The anti-Christian MSM reporting is so facile, as stupid and as mindless as the liberal-left coverage of Mahmoud Ahmadinedad and his fascistic government. Were are living as people did in 1905, with an unheard-of World War I in the immediate future. I prefer to be the Christian writer, brooding about our unsavory future. It beats joining the MSM here.

    • I agree with you. Just as there were many false first comings of the messiah, there will many false alarms of his second coming ,which call cause many people to harden their hearts about this subject and miss his real second coming. Just like the majority missed his first coming.Just like they had the exact year prophesied by Daniel the prophet when the messiah would be put to death.Dan.9:25] Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.[26] And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
Once the order was given to rebuild Jerusalem they could calculate down to the very year when the messiah would be killed.
So we have a prophecy today that Daniel in the very same chapter that Jesus referred to in Matt.24 when he was talking about his second coming.Matt.24:15] When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
I believe once that event happens then we can do the same in our day calculate down to the very year he`s coming back which happens 3.5 years after that event not the day or the hour but the year and month!Daniel is the only prophet that does this giving us the exact number of years from certain events to the first and second comings of Jesus the Messiah. These ministries that predict the second coming of the messiah totally ignore the signs that Daniel gives that Jesus told us to watch for.We can`t calculate the month and year till certain events happen.
Just because there are false alarms out there doesn`t mean we should stop watching for the signs of his second coming 1Thes.5:6] Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.Rev.3:2] Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.[3] Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
You Are one of the few Christians that get what the almighty means when he said the world will be destroyed by fire .I have come to the very same conclusion, that it will be the next world war with nuclear bombs involved that the Almighty will use to destroy the world as we know it to clear the way for the setting up of his kingdom.Iran being in the center of it.Isa.21:[2] A grievous vision is declared unto me; the treacherous dealer dealeth treacherously, and the spoiler spoileth. Go up, O Elam: besiege, O Media; all the sighing thereof have I made to cease. Elam is Persia or Iran . Isa.21:5] Prepare the table, watch in the watchtower, eat, drink: arise, ye princes, and anoint the shield. The prophet is describing a horrible war here caused by Iran. Dan.11:2] And now will I shew thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia;(Iran) and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia.
Here Again you see Iran causing war when you get to the end of this chapter. Ezek.38:5] Persia,(Iran) Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet. Rev.9:18] By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. Rev.18:21] And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all. Zech.14:12] And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.Just about everywhere you look in the bible about the second coming of Jesus there`s a Major war that shakes everything apart in this world with persia (Elam ,Iran) in the center of it and that is exactly what is playing out before our very eyes. That`s why it`s so important to have a good relationship with the Our Lord Jesus Christ!
Stick with Jesus and can`t lose!
      God bless!

  2. , in effect, “Do this” (that is, honor your faehtr and mother) and then states the promise, “so that your days may be long ….” Paul didn’t comment on the remaining commandments, but he could have, for none of them include a specific promise either. Only this commandment does. The promise seems to be that by honoring our parents, we increase our lifespan. But the meaning here is not in the sense of a guarantee; it probably refers to our well-being: If this commandment is practiced, life is likely to go better for us, generally speaking. Two other observations: First, this commandment, though coming from a patriarchal era when men ruled and women had no legal standing, is remarkable in that when it comes to the behavior of children toward their parents, faehtr and mother are on equal footing, equally to be honored. That doesn’t seem unusual in our age, but it was a giant leap forward in Old Testament times. Second, this commandment, while appropriate to young children, is addressed to grownups. It commands a certain level of behavior from adult offspring toward their parents. Then, in verse 4 of the fifth chapter of 1 Timothy [If a widow has children or grandchildren, they should first learn their religious duty to their own family and make some repayment to their parents; for this is pleasing in God’s sight.], Paul speaks of caring for one’s older family members as “religious duty” and “pleasing in God’s sight.” In verse 8 he adds an even stronger statement: “And whoever does not provide for relatives, and especially for family members, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.”Questions: Inasmuch as the Ten Commandments are a guiding directive for life, how do you apply the general principle of the fifth Commandment to a specific situation say, where the parents were not good to their children or where the older person is making unreasonable demands? Why do you think Paul speaks of caring for family members as “religious duty”? Do you agree?

    • First of all, I agree with you that it`s probably not a guarantee ,but more about our well being because as a rule there is no one that cares about our well being as much as our parents. If we have disdain for them or look down on them as if they are not important, then when they try to protect us by giving us guidance (sometimes telling us what not to do or what to do)we are not going to receive it, and do foolish things that hurt us and those around us.They have gone through life a lot longer than their children so they are a lot wiser. We only receive things from people if we think they are important.(or give them honor in our lives , place of importance)That`s why the almighty says this in Deut.27:16
16] Cursed be he that setteth light by his father or his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen
But ,there are always those parents that don`t follow the general rule and cause more harm to there children than good. If the parent doesn`t repent ,and continues to hurt you should you continue to hang around them and allow them to hurt you? Of course not! But if you are grown up and your parents need you,and you have handed your hurt to the Lord Jesus because you trust him to make things right. You have come to realize that someday, your parents will have to answer to him for how they treated you ,and healing has happened because of that. ( the only reason we become bitter is because we don`t trust the Almighty to deal with the people that have hurt us ,we think they are going to get away with it) Then I would say, be there for them when they need you, and your heavenly father will reward you for that. As far as making unreasonable demands, in my opinion just because I give somebody a place of importance in my life (honor) does not mean , I give in to all there selfish demands, it`s one thing to be there to meet somebody`s legitimate needs because I love them and care for them, it`s a whole different story when they try to control or manipulate me, for their own selfish desires. This honoring is about , them being important enough to you that you care about them. That `s why Jesus said the Pharisees , were not honoring there father and mother , because they were sticking there money away and saying it was (corban) meaning a gift for god, as an excuse not to use it to take care of there parents.Jesus himself said he would divide father and son and mother and daughter.
Luke.12;53] The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
What if back then, a father would have said to his son, I don`t want you to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, because it hurts me and your mother and you are going to disrupt our whole family. Should the son have obeyed that demand? Of course not he would have missed eternal life!
Just because they make unreasonable demands sometimes, doesn`t mean we shouldn`t care for them when they have a legitimate need.We just need to know when to say no.If it`s an ureasonable demand say no, but continue to care for them.I don`t believe it`s a religious duty, I believe it`s about a duty that`s comes out of love (careing for others).Which the apostle Paul said if we love, we will naturally do those things in the law. Which the commandment to honor father and mother is one of them. The only way to truly do that, is to to have that love that comes from having a real relationship with our heavenly Father.
Rom.13:8] Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
[9] For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
[10] Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
      Hope that helps God bless!

  3. From:
    Jason Woods
I want to show you something:
    Revelation 3:10 â–º

    New International Version (©1984)
Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep
you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world
to test those who live on the earth.

That means TO ME that we do not have to look at that antichrists face.
Chuck Swindoll pointed this out. Please clarify.

    • Thanks for pointing this verse out. This one comes up a lot when people want to prove there is an pre-tribulation rapture. There are several problems with interpreting this verse that way. First of all, to believe that we won`t see the antichrist contradicts what the Almighty says in the scriptures. If we would only have this verse, then we might be able to say that is what it is saying, but we have to consider all the scriptures concerning this subject. If we look at the context of this verse, it becomes obvious what is being said. It`s talking about how the Almighty set an open door before the believers into his Kingdom through the Messiah Jesus, and nobody can shut that door. How would somebody try to shut that door?
Obviously, through persecuting those that believed Jesus was the messiah. That`s why in verse 9 he talks about those that said they were Jews but were lying it was the Jews that rejected Jesus as the messiah that persecuted those that believed he was the most . The apostle Paul being one of them until he had his conversion experience on the road to Damascus. So when you look at the bigger picture here and don`t filter this verse through the pretrib. theory it becomes obvious what is being said. The Almighty set an open door before them but because of the persecution it would have been tempting not to go through that door by following Jesus as the Messiah.
That`s why in verse ten he talks about the word of his patience. He is saying that because they received that word that Jesus was someday gonna rule the world as the King of kings and Lord of lords as the messiah and they were patiently waiting on that that kingdom to come in the midst of all the persecution which is why it would have been tempting to not follow Jesus through that door.So when the almighty says he will keep them from the hour of temptation, what he saying is he will give them the strength not to yield to that temptation ,to quit following Jesus as the messiah. That`s why he said in verse 8 that they had a little strength left they were holding on to thier faith and he was reassuring them that when that hour came that the temptation was the greatest he would give them the strength not to yield to it.And let`s remember this was written to believers and every true believer in Jesus will be tried that`s why he says that this trying or temptation will come upon the whole world to try them that dwell on the earth he`s talking about believers in Jesus that are in the world or on the earth being tried that`s why in verse eleven he encourages them to hang on to there faith because he is coming back! and not let any man take it away from them. In James chapt.1 he talks about the very same thing and to say that that this verse is saying that we will just be taken outta here before we get tried in my opinion is not scriptural. He even ends it in verse 12 with saying if they overcome then they will be part of the Almighty`s temple, overcome what? The hour of temptation of course that means they made it through that hour and were victorious! So he is not saying he will keep them from being tried what he is saying is that hour won`t be victorious ( he will keep them or protect them from that hour)over them as long as they hold on to there faith in his word and patiently wait on his return.
To say that this verse means that we Christians won`t see the Antichrist is a direct contradiction of the scriptures. In 2Thes:2 when the Apostle Paul was talking about the second coming and the rapture(resurrection)1] Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
He made it very clear that that event won`t happen until the antichrist is revealed.
      2Thes.23] Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
What day is he talking about ? all you have to do is look at verse 1] Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, the rapture or(resurrection)! that is the day he is talking about. It becomes crystal clear that day can`t come until the antichrist is revealed that`s how I know that this idea that none of us Christians are going to see the antichrist is false because he makes it very clear here we have to see him first before our gathering together unto him can happen.Hope that helps! May the Lord Jesus bless you!

      • Thanks for that insight,
However, I notice there is speculation as the difference between the Rapture, and the second coming. Christ returns with his Bride the Church to the final battle it would be very confusing to be heading into battle as we go into the rapture at the same time. Therefore, why would we need to be prepared for the theif in the night, as we know when the second coming is after the desolation. Notice antichrist is reveal is not captialized, meaning, the Holy Spirt is removed before the Antichrist person is brought onto the scene. As I understand it the Holy Spirit cannot remain if the Antichrist is here, and we are promised the Holy Spirit so if that is taken away then I am to assume so is the Bride/Chruch. I feel the Bride is “caught up in the air with the sleeping”, and return with Christ at the very end to wage war against the evil. There has to be a Bride for a wedding, and Christ will return for his Bride before the second coming where Christ sets his feet on the mount of olives and this is the second coming. These are two seperate events correct?

        • That`s a very good question! No ,I do not believe these are two separate events.I don`t believe the bible teaches anywhere that there is more than one second coming of Christ. I understand that if you hold a pre trib. theology there has to be more than one.1 a secret snatching away.2 Jesus comes back with the saints to take control of planet earth. That is not what the Almighty says through the Apostle Paul in 1Cor.15:22] For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
[23] But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.
[24] Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
Here Paul makes it very clear that the resurrection (rapture) happens at the second coming in verse 23.Then in verse 24 he also says that at that time will be the end of human government and everything is going to be under the authority of the Almighty through our Lord Jesus Christ! Keep that in mind that Paul talks about the Kingdom of God coming to this planet when he talks about the resurrection.Later in this same chapter he gives us more of the details of this same event.1Cor.15 :

51] Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
[52] In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
[53] For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
[54] So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
[55] O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
[56] The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
[57] But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

See here in verse 52 The Almighty tells us when this event will happen at the last trumpet. All we have to do is go to Rev.11:15 when the last trumpet sounds and look at what happens 15] And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.It becomes obvious that these are the same events which end with The Almighty and his Christ ruling over the kingdoms of this world
exactly what the apostle Paul said when he was talking about the resurrection. We even see the resurrection in this same chapter and it`s not some secret snatching away it says our enemies see us go up to meet our Lord in the air!
11] And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
[12] And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
Again the same event.I realize that pre trib. theologians say these are two different trumpets but all one has to do is compare the two and see it`s talking about the same event!
I believe the feast days reveal more of the details from being changed in the twinkling of an eye(feast of trumpets)to defeating the armies that are coming against Israel putting everything under the authority of God(day of atonement)will be ten days.
Now this whole idea that the antichrist can`t be here the same time that the Holy Spirit is here is just plain unbiblical!1John.2:18] Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
If there were many antichrists in Johns day when the Holy Spirit was here. What in the world makes us think that the antichrist can`t be here at the same time as the Holy Spirit! In fact how in the world would there be tribulation saints without the Holy Spirit if it takes the Holy Spirit to be born again?John.3:3] Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
[4] Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?
[5] Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
[6] That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
          Hope that helps God bless!

        • Pastor David,That is a great question, and a great exmlpae! For me, What is the meaning of life is a meaningless question and just reveals the presuppositions of the questioner. So that is how I answer that question. I would say: What is the meaning of rocks has the same quality of a question as What is the meaning of Life. It is an anthropomorphic delusional reflex to expect meaning where it does not exist. Many people can’t parse the question that way. Other people may have the question haunt them and wonder: Gee, maybe there is one purpose, one Meaning, one goal for all life or at least for humans and I guess I am suppose to find it. For those sorts of people (who are haunted by the question) rather than slide into nasty Calvinist solutions, they could say:(1) I don’t know and it I don’t think it is important for me to pretend to know.(2) I don’t know, I don’t think we can know.(3) I think the answer is to love each other.(4) I don’t know but I wonder about it all the time and that makes me feel good even though I can never answer it.or anything but: my peace is in the questions because that really does not tell us anything about what they are really thinking and really doing with the question. And so people can interpret that any way they want to fit their worldview. For instance, if someone asked you:(a) Is Jesus a god?or(b) Does the Bible have guidelines for living that are significantly more accurate than non-religious folks have written?Would you simply respond, my peace is in the questions ?If so, then the phrase shows it true colors. And if not, then you should tell us what type of questions My peace is the questions? is meant to be useful for and how.But adages, aphorisms and platitudes sell better than the analytic approach that I am suggesting may be more productive and direct.I hope this makes my point more clear, or perhaps it is too irritating to have the phrase challenged. But, I love questioning even adages about questions. I actually question this to hopefully improve understanding maybe in the end it will be my understanding alone which will be improved.

          • The Bible makes it very clear what the meaning of life is. Rev.4:10] The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
[11] Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
Here it makes it crystal clear what the purpose of life is.WE were created for his pleasure ,until we get that revelation ,we will never experience true fulfillment.Once we understand that, and start living for him ,and acknowledge him and lay our desires down so we can live out his desires that is when we experience true fulfillment because that is what we were created for!
The apostle Paul put it this way. Gal.2:20] I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
May The Lord Jesus bless you!

    • Thank you that`s very encouraging to read those words! That`s what these teachings are all about. To inform God`s people what`s going on in the world and in the Almighty`s kingdom!May God bless you!

      • Thanks, that`s my goal because the Almighty is not the author of confusion!1Cor14:33] For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

  4. Can you bring some clarity to the resignation of the 111 Pope. Do you feel that the Bible tells of a “Peter the Roman” and what scriptures backup that this 112 pope will usher in great tribulation against Egypt and possibly usher in the antichrist?

    • That`s a good question.First of all it`s important to note that this is not a bible prophecy. This is a prophecy given by a roman catholic archbishop, St.Malachy.In which he gives a description of a hundred and twelve popes ending with the the 112th one described as “Peter the Roman”starting with Pope Celestine II, who died in 1144.So I don`t hold this prophecy in as high regard as I do bible prophecy.Nevertheless the way bible prophecy is being fulfilled in the middle east and around the world right now it looks like this prophecy might be right on!The prophecied destruction of the City of Damascus and Syria in Isa.17,and the prophecied political turmoil in Eygyt in Isa.19 right before the Messiah comes back, the alignment of Russia and Iran in Ezek.38,and many others which are happening right now.And this prophecy says the 112th pope will be the last one and during his reign Rome will be judged and destroyed.Which matches what the Bible says that right before the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ the whole world will be judged and many high places and kingdoms will be shaken and destroyed.Pss.46 : 6] The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. So we will have to wait and see if the next Pope ends up having something to do with Peter the Roman then we might be seeing the Last Pope of the Roman Catholic Church.Hope that helps God bless!

  5. Thank you, Brother Miller for your teachings!

I am listening intently to your recordings. The Lord put Biblical prophecy on my heart several years ago, even before I had rededicated my life to Christ. I could see that world events were shaping up similarly to what I had remembered from previous study of the book of Revelation.

It had been on my heart also that we would NOT be raptured even though I wasn’t sure why the Lord put that on my heart, and even though I was surrounded by people who believe in either a pre or post-trib rapture. Now, having listened to Irvin Baxter and having been introduced to your website via a Facebook friend, that which was on my heart (no rapture) has been affirmed. I hold your view in this area. Now, when the Lord prompts me, I will begin speaking of this to my friends.

Please do more recordings on current event updates if possible. I am anxious to hear what you have to say as world events unfold daily.

Thank you again for your teachings.

Praise be to God through the Lord Jesus Christ!

    • Thanks for your comment, very encouraging. That`s what it`s all about helping each other to come to the truth of what the word of the Almighty actually says. We are planning to post more updates soon.

  6. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I truly appreciate your efforts and I will be waiting for your

  8. Greetings!
I hav been so blessed goin thru these conversations. I’v been observing for a few months now.I’m thrilled how u hav an amazing ministry that obviously takes an enormous amount of time & research in the Living Word. All the glory goes to God but I believe it is proper to say”I respect u for that”.There is so much Biblical wisdom here among all that converse back & forth!
I was reading in Mat 24 today & came across a question that someone might b able to help me with…In vs 37 & 38 when Jesus talks about Noah,it is spelled Noe..Any idea why? My TouchBible’s pronunciation was”No-eh”pronounced the same, just dif spelling. Any insight?

    • Yes ,that`s a good question. You will find this in different parts of the new testament. An example would be in Romans 9:25 As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved. Here he is talking about Hosea but it`s spelled differently, and in verse 27 he`s talking about Isaiah.Romans9:27 Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved:We see again it`s spelled differently. There would be other examples but I think I have given enough to make my point. When you go from one language to another, then to a third one, sometimes some of the spelling gets lost when you translate it from one language to the next. These names were Hebrew names originally then translated to Greek ,then translated into the English language. That is why you see the spelling change because the old testament was translated from the Hebrew directly into the English, but the new was translated (that is these names ) from Hebrew, to Greek, to English, thats why the spelling changes, talking about the same people, just different spellings of those names.
Hope that helps , God bless!

When Saul was on the road to Damascus, he was told to go visit Ananias, Saul was instructed to go be baptised for sin. In later Bible versus, it states that men were instructed to be baptised for the remission of sin. Why did the Roman Catholic church change being saved from “in Jesus name only” to the Trinity? Also, the sinners prayer is attacked as not being addressed once in the New Testament.
Many are taught to be baptised as an outward act of an inward decision to accept Jesus Christ as our own personal Savior, then we are baptised as a public display.
Are we saved using the Trinity? Or are we saved using Jesus name and being baptised for the remission of sin, therefore are born again? Also, why do some denominations debate the oneness of God, vs the Trinity?

    • In reply to Tim taylor.
      You have put quite a lot on the table to discuss here, I don`t think I would have the time and room on this reply to address everything you mentioned here. So I will do my best to sum this all up and reply on what I think is important, and if I don`t answer your questions then put another comment on this page, but ask one question at a time, that will help me answer them better.First of all i`m going to expose my ignorance here I am not sure what you mean about the sinners prayer not being addressed in the new testament so I won`t cover that.Now as far as this age old debate about the Trinity vs the oneness of God I believe there is misunderstanding in both sides of the issue.What I have found is Christians want to label you as being in the oneness camp or the Trinity camp I refuse to allow christians to put me in any one of those ,because I believe both sides have some truth on this issue.I see that some Christians that believe in the Trinity go so far with it that they do teach God is three separate Gods that make up the concept of God.I believe that is the error on the Trinity side of things.This is what I believe the bible teaches about it, that God Manifests(reveals himself) in the pages of the bible and to his creation in three different ways, as God the Father,God the Son , and God the Holy Spirit, all of them expressing the same God not Three different ones.Talking About the Son Jesus .Heb.1:3] Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
It tells us here that Jesus is the perfect expression of the Father here, and the Holy Spirit doesn`t go around expressing his own person. When a person has the Spirit of the Living God in his Life then the Holy spirit through that person reveals the person of God Almighty not some other personality. 2Cor.33.Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.
[4] And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward:
See here the apostle Paul shows when a person has the Holy Spirit He will write the laws of God in that persons heart, and when that person starts living out those laws in his life he is revealing the person Of the Almighty(his Glory)2Cor.3:18] But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.So I believe in the Trinity but probably not like most Trinity people do.Now in the oneness camp I see some go so far, and try to deny that it even exists and that`s the part I disagree with.
Now about being baptized by saying the right name over the one that is being baptized.
I want to start with first making very clear that I absolutely believe that there is no name in this life and the next that has more authority than the name Jesus because it has been given to him by the Father.John.5:22] For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
[23] That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.
4] Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. [6] And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
Having said that, I do not believe just because somebody says the right name when they are baptizing someone is a guarantee that that person is born again.First of all when you do something in the name of someone else in the bible that means you are doing it on there behalf backed by their authority. For example when someone did something for King David and someone asked that person in whose name are you doing this then that person would respond”in the name of David”and what he was saying I am backed by the authority of the King.So if somebody tried to stop you they would have to answer to David. Now that person didn`t go around and every time he did something for David say”in the Name of David” only when he was challenged.
we see the same thing in the new testament in Acts.4[7] And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this?
[10] Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
[12] Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
[17] But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name.
[18] And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.
[30] By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.
the point I am trying to make is this the reason that the apostles were stressing the name of Jesus every time they did something is because the Hebrew people did not understand that the Father(Jehovah) had given all his authority to his son Jesus.See, The Father ,The Son ,The Holy Spirit, all the authority in those three titles is contained in one name that is the name of Jesus Christ if Nazareth.I just don`t believe that that name is some kind of magical ritual that when said over a person it guarantees he saved forever.I know people that have gotten baptized both ways, and some are saved and have the Holy spirit in both camps and some think because they went through the ritual of getting baptized they are garuanteed eternal life and they have yet to spend one hour in the presence of the Holy Spirit, simply because they do not understand that this is about a personal relationship with the Father and His Son Jesus. You can`t believe in someone if you don`t know them. This is about believing on(not believing about him) a lot of people in the world believe that Jesus existed but they do not trust in him.
4] Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
[5] When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
See here it reveals that just simply repenting from sin, which is what John`s, baptism was all about ,(in getting the people ready to receive the messiah) did not save them unless it resulted in them putting there trust on Jesus as the Deliverer that God would send just simply turning from sin without starting a personal relationship with the our Lord Jesus does not save anybody.
I stress that because I Know people that have gotten Baptized in the Name of Jesus but don`t have that trusting relationship with him.The thing that Paul is stressing here is that John said they had to believe on the one that came after him which was Jesus.
Having said that I want to make it clear that I am not opposed to baptizing someone in the name of Jesus I have done that myself already.I just want to caution people in thinking just because that name was said when they were baptized does not mean they are saved unless it results in a real live relationship with the Son of God , Jesus!
That`s all for now ,I assume I probably didn`t even come close to addressing everything you wanted me to, so feel free to leave more comments but try to address one issue per comment, it will make it easier for me to focus on one issue and reply to it in greater detail, thanks
      God bless!
